
As a young girl Dr. Amanda Doty participated in 4H from the time she was 8 years old until she was 18.
She knew then that she wanted to do something in the animal profession. Dr. Doty grew up in the San Antonio area and attended and played softball for St. Mary’s University her freshman year. She then went on to attend Texas A&M University where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology. And finally, she graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015.
Dr. Doty practiced at a hospital in Odessa before joining Hill Country Animal Hospital in July of 2018. Dr. Doty’s professional interests include pet nutrition and dermatology.
Dr. Doty shares her home with husband, Reid and dog Laramie who is a black Lab/Border Collie mix. Dr. Doty’s hobbies include working out, reading and traveling.
