Associate veterinarian Dr. Stephanie Krick grew up with Vizslas, a sporting breed known for loyal companionship, and learned from an early age the important role pets play in contributing to one’s happiness and well-being.

She grew up near Reading, Pennsylvania and served as a veterinary receptionist and veterinary technician for several years prior to attending veterinary school.

Dr. Krick received her B.S. in Biology from Messiah College in Pennsylvania in 2002 where she was a member of the college’s honors program. She then continued on to the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and received her VMD in 2007. Dr. Krick practiced in Pennsylvania for five years prior to moving to Texas. Today, she enjoys soft tissue surgery and the unique challenges of feline medicine. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Krick reports that what she finds most rewarding about her career is “contributing to the happiness of my clients by keeping their four-legged family members healthy. “ She enjoys the challenges and rewards of diagnosing and treating her patients.

Dr. Krick is married to a veterinarian and has one daughter. They share their home with Nash, a Brittany, Wyatt, a mixed breed rescued from San Antonio, and four cats, Lucy, Jenga, Avril and Hopkins. She enjoys indoor cycling, yoga and spending time with her family.
